How to Add Work Order Locations, Categories, and Problems for Commercial Properties

Adding Additional Work Order Locations, Categories, and Problems 

Locations

Step 1
From the  Admin Portal select “Operations”  and then "Work Order Configuration" from the left navigation menu.

Step 2
To add a new location, select "Locations" from the drop down menu at the top of the screen. Then select "Add Location" at the top right of the page.



These locations can be edited by selecting the three dots to the far right of the location name.

Adding Tags to Work Order Locations

Tags for Work Order Locations are a great feature to use for making work order locations viewable or not viewable to it's users. 

Step 1
To add tags to a work order location select “Operations” located in the left navigation menu then select "Work Order Configuration."



Step 2
Select the drop-down arrow next to "Custom Questions" at the top of the screen and then select "Locations."



Step 3
Select the three dots on the right hand side to "Edit Location."



Step 4

Select the tag you would like to be associated with that Location and select "Save Changes."



Step 3
Enter the Location Name and select "Submit".

Categories

Step 1
From the  Admin Portal select “Operations” located in the left navigation menu. Select “Work Order Configuration”. 




Step 2
Select “Categories” from the drop down menu at the top. All existing categories are viewable from this screen.

Categories can be edited by selecting the three dots to the far right of the category title.
Step 3
To add a new category, select “Add Category” located on the top right of the screen and follow the on-screen prompts.
  1. Assigned to: This will auto-assign all work orders created under this category to a specific person or group. For more information please see the “Auto-assigning Work Orders” section of this training guide.


Problems

Step 1
From the  Admin Portal select “Work Orders” located in the left navigation menu. Select “Work Order Configuration.”


Step 2
Select “Problems” from the drop down menu at the top of the screen.

  1. All existing problems are viewable from this screen.
  2. Problems can be edited by selecting the three dots to the far right of the problem title.
Step 3
Select the “Add Problem” from the top right of the screen. Enter the name of the desired problem and the category you would like to have it assigned.
