What is HID?

HID is a mobile credential integration that allows users to hold mobile credentials on their devices to seamlessly open doors and elevators using HID mobile credentials and bluetooth enabled readers.

Data Flow and Synchronization Process

Mobile Credentials:
  • When a user opts to hold a mobile key on the VTS Rise app, VTS Rise will generate a mobile credential for that user.
  • If HID is multi-integrated with an Access Control integration, the mobile credential will be pushed to the Access Control System if the user exists in the Access Control System.

VTS Rise and HID Sync Methods

  • When a mobile credential is generated, VTS Rise will immediately fetch a mobile credential from the property’s HID Origo ID.
  • The mobile credential is immediately pushed to the Access Control System if VTS Rise is integrated with it.
