This article will provide you with some frequently asked questions about VTS Rise's integration with Yardi Residential.

Resident Syncing

Can a user pay rent on Rise with a Yardi financial integration?

Rent will still be made through Rent Cafe (QAB), but you can track charges on both Yardi and VTS Rise.

How long before move-in does VTS Rise add a user into the platform?

This is configurable in property settings to the property's request, but by default we set it as 30 days.

How long after the move-out date will the user profile be deleted from Rise, if deleted in Yardi?

At midnight during the sync this user will be deleted from Rise.

There is a resident in Yardi labeled as Future Resident, why aren't they showing in VTS Rise?

They need to have the move in date populated in settings in their Yardi profile.

Work Order Syncing

What does VTS sync from Yardi for work orders?

VTS Rise imports work order categories and problems from Yardi.

When does VTS Rise sync work orders from yardi?

VTS Rise is continuously updating work orders from Yardi.

For Yardi Work orders, can VTS Rise assign more than one charge code to a work order?

Only one charge code can be assigned per category.

Do work order closing notes from VTS Rise sync to Yardi and vice versa?

No, closing notes added in VTS Rise will not sync over to Yardi and closing notes added in Yardi will not sync to VTS Rise.
